Hey, I'm Austin

I'm a DevSecOps and Site Reliability Engineer with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and building reliable systems at scale. I've built an SRE program from the ground up and managed a team of SREs and Infrastructure Engineers.

I hold an M.B.A. with a focus in IT Management from Southern New Hampshire University and a B.S. in Computer Science from Waynesburg University. I believe reliability is the utmost priority for modern production software, and I create solutions that exceed customer expectations for what reliability can be.

I live in Pittsburgh with my wife and two cats, where I enjoy making music with friends, discovering new restaurants, and spending many summer evenings at PNC Park watching the Pirates play. I also produce Pittsburgh Tech Beat, a blog and podcast about the local Pittsburgh tech scene.
